For some, Christmas is a happy time of the year. For others, not so much. Wherever your thoughts about the festivities, there are things we can do to make sure we have a quality Christmas ...
The best way to have a quality Christmas is to just enjoy yourself!

Number one is to definitely takes time off work if you are able. Christmas is a special time of year when pretty much the entire world is on holiday. Take advantage of that and enjoy the time off.
"Unless you work in something like the emergency services or hospitality, it is unlikely anyone will be around to answer your e-mails!"
Fully unplugging during holiday times has been shown to boost productivity in the long run, so if you want to start the new year running then unplugging for a few days of Christmas will help.
My second suggestion is to enjoy yourself. For me that will involve seeing family and friends, doing some meditation practice, going swimming and generally putting my feet up. Whatever enjoyment means to you, take this time to do it.
It doesn't matter if it's a few drinks down the pub with friends, long walks in the countryside or watching a box set – just do it! You will feel better for spending your time doing things you love.
My last suggestion is to decide what your goals for 2020 are going to be. Having some time to reflect on the year gone by and what you would like to change or improve on is key to starting the new year in a positive way. It may be purely working goals, but also consider relationship goals, health and leisure ones too.
So, that's my holiday wrapped up nicely. How will you have a quality Christmas?
Until next time ...
